My stay at Microtel in Culpeper was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly, the room clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered delightful options, especially the sausage gravy. However, noise from the hallway was occasionally distracting. Overall, it exceeded my expectations for value and experience.

The room was spacious for our family, and we enjoyed the breakfast, especially the waffles! The location worked great for our hike, with easy access to routes and shops. Plus, the staff helped with directions and provided a warm welcome during our stay.
My children wished there were more activities for kids to enjoy near the hotel.

Comfortable Stay with Helpful Staff
I recently spent two nights at this hotel. The staff exceeded my expectations, always ready to assist with a friendly smile. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a great selection, making mornings enjoyable. Remember to ask for a room away from the elevator for quieter nights.

The breakfast spread was pure fire, with homemade pastries that were a treat for the taste buds! Plus, the variety of food options was enough to make any foodie smile, from eggs to hash browns. Great room space in the Queen Studio Suite was a delightful bonus.
But let’s keep it real, those pillows weren't comfy and we picked up a faint whiff of weed upon entry. Also, walls felt a bit thin since we caught some late-night drama from next door. Still, the stay had its bright sides.

missingWrote a review on Sept 07efficient layoutconstant coffeegood refrigeratorpoor cleanliness
The design of the Queen Studio Suite enhances the experience. the layout includes an efficient center island with cabinets, a mini-fridge, and a microwave, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The 24-hour coffee service in the lobby stood out, keeping the pick-me-up readily available throughout our stay.
Room cleanliness left much to be desired. hair was noticeable on the floor and in pillowcases, which really put a damper on the comfort level. The refrigerator contained a lingering smell from something spoiled, making it an unpleasant feature. Thin walls allowed too much noise from neighboring rooms, including a late-night argument that disrupted sleep. The towels were oddly small, not offering enough coverage, and there was a strange divider between the beds that felt out of place.

Comfortable stay with great breakfast
The room was cozy and included a microwave, refrigerator, and flat-screen TV. It had a walk-in shower and all the toiletries you need. Breakfast was a highlight, with scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, and make-your-own waffles. Staff was super helpful and friendly throughout my stay.

I had a pleasant experience during my stay. The room was cozy and clean. The queen bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed relaxing in front of the flat-screen TV. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, with a good variety of options including tasty hard-boiled eggs and hash browns. Staff were welcoming and attentive, making the atmosphere feel friendly. However, there were a few drawbacks. The AC unit took some time to adjust, and I could hear noise from the hallway. The cleaning staff often overlapped with family members in public areas, creating a casual vibe that felt unprofessional at times. I also noticed that two beds in my room had an odd divider between them, which made it feel a bit cramped. Overall, a good value for the price, but some issues could use attention.

Nice and cozy stay!
We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The room was clean and had this cute little divider between the sleeping area and the living space with a sink and fridge. Had some good coffee in the breakfast area. My only thing was that you could hear some footsteps above us, but it wasn't that big of a deal.

not safe and super sketchy
This place was a mess. Our room got entered twice by other guests. The staff said it was a computer error, but that’s just not cool. Breakfast was chaotic with tons of people. Also, the manager can be a bit dismissive about security concerns.

Conveniently situated near shops and restaurants, the atmosphere felt pleasantly private despite the proximity. The spacious room included a center island with a sink, microwave, and mini-fridge, making it very comfortable. Breakfast stood out with a great variety, including delicious sausage gravy and well-cooked eggs. However, some minor housekeeping details were overlooked, and while the bed was generally comfortable, upgrades to the bedding would enhance the experience further.
